Introduction to Sustainable Development

Course Description
In this class, we learn the basic concept of the sustainable development. Through the variety of the world wide’s examples explained in the the textbook, you can understand not only the philosophy behind the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but also the actual difficulties that policy makers are facing. This class is based on the presentation by the student assigned each time and the following discussion among the class participants.
Grading
Your grade is determined by the following weight. No mid-term or final exam in this course. During the class, I would like to enjoy hearing your opinion from various perspectives based on your background.

- class participation: 50%
